Set amidst the backdrop of 1960s Baltimore, this musical based on the John Waters' film of the same name explores some charged and unfortunately still relevant topics of fatphobia, racism, and bullying with a very upbeat, comedic and positive style. You can’t help but fall in love with Tracy Turnblad and the rest of the story of Hairspray.
